Jolee expected to be punished harshly for his mistakes, but the Council said he had learned his lessons the hard way, and even considered promoting him to knighthood. Disappointed with the Jedi's decision, Jolee left the Order and started wandering the galaxy before being stranded on Kashyyyk, where he meets the player character.

Jolee Bindo is a unique Jedi in the fact that he believes in neither the light or dark side of the Force. He walks the line between them stating to Revan that he thinks the Jedi are wrong about love. If the player takes the path to the light he will continue to be available in their party and continue to help in the fight against Darth Malak and to destroy the Star Forge. However, if Revan chooses to reclaim his title of Dark Lord, Jolee will consider the Jedi the lesser evil and attack Revan and Bastila.

When the Sith on Korriban turned on themselves after Darth Malak's death and Revan's disappearance, Sion is, apparently, one of the Sith Lords that escapes to the Unknown Regions in the galaxy. But it seemed he actually went to Malachor V, where he became apprenticed to Darth Traya, Revan's former teacher.

Sion is a uniquely powerful individual, having learned the ways of pain in the Trayus Academy on Malachor. Torturing and killing others enhanced his strength in the Force, and his ability to feed on his own pain and hatred made him almost immortal. Sion's body has been burned and deformed to such an extent that his own hatred--and strength in the dark side--literally holds him together. His only true defeat would be if he allowed the Force to release him or the Force was drained from him, in such means that Nihilus could accomplish. However, Sion and Nihilus teamed together to hunt for the Jedi Exile, so his downfall would never occur because of Darth Nihilus. A master with a lightsaber, and perhaps the most infamous Sith assassin of the era, Sion was known to be responsible for the death of countless Jedi during the shadow war waged by himself and Lord Nihilus.

Sion lead a team of Sith Assassins after the Exile, whom he believed to be the last of the Jedi. He hijacked a Republic warship, called the Harbinger , and tracked the Exile to the Peragus II mining colony. Though he destroyed Peragus, the Exile and her companions escaped.

While on Korriban, he captured and killed the Jedi Master Lonna Vash, one of the members of the Jedi Council who banished the Jedi Exile from the Jedi Order. Before her death at Sion's hands, she had this to say about him: "This Sith Lord, Darth Sion, is a perversion of the dark side, the likes of which I have never seen before. Although he was cunning enough to capture me, he seems like a volatile brute, and should be easily coerced."

He dueled with the Exile on Korriban, the dark forces of which made him unstoppable; the Exile had no choice but to flee.

Darth Sion, along with fellow Sith Lord Darth Nihilus, were former apprentices of Traya, before he and Nihilus cast her out of the Sith Order and stripped her of her powers. He sought not only the destruction of all Jedi, but everything his former master held dear. He is eventually defeated by the Exile, who had served Revan during the Mandalorian Wars.

Having lived so long knowing nothing but hatred, Sion was glad to leave that evil place at last. The Exile could not defeat Sion in battle, and instead used her powers of persuasion to convince Sion that Darth Traya had no more use for him, and that by giving up the Force he would finally be free from his pain and hatred. Sion gave in to the Exile's influence, sacrificing his own life to the Force in the heart of the Trayus Academy.

Shortly before his death, Sion showed he was not entirely consumed by hatred, and that perhaps he sought something more than death and destruction. He said bitterly to the Exile, "Like you, Revan touched power and turned away. The chance to heal this fractured galaxy at last . . . and he turned away!"

Sion professed his love for the female Exile before their final duel. One deleted scene has Atton and Sion fighting over her before the duel, Atton either being wounded or killed by Sion, wounded if The Exile is Light, or dying if the Exile is Dark.

Like most other Sith Lords whose names begin with Darth, Sion's name suggests another word: scion, meaning heir. In this case, heir to his master, Traya, and the legacy of the Sith.

The Disciple is a soldier and force-adept that was refused for training because of the Mandalorian Wars. He eventually tells the player character that he wishes the player to be his master. He is a playable character that joins the player's party on Dantooine if your player is a woman. Disciple can be influenced by light side acts and can be trained as a Jedi Consular. He eventually reveals his name as Mical to the player character.

Admiral Forn Dodonna is a fictional character who appeared in the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. She was an admiral in the Republic Fleet, noted for her skills as a leader and for aiding the player and his group in defeating Darth Malak and destroying the Star Forge. During the planetary bombardment of Taris by Darth Malak's Sith forces, Davik was betrayed and killed by Canderous Ordo and his new companion the amnesiac (the player). The player and his/her followers then appropriated Davik's flagship, the Ebon Hawk.
